MASTERING INTERVALS

Intervals are the basis of music and mastering intervals is essential!

Learning intervals can be overwhelming. We must decipher between Major and minor, diminished and augmented... consonant and dissonant.... compound... the list goes on! Once you feel like you have a thorough knowledge of how intervals work, and are able to spot them quickly, you will find that everything in music comes easier!

I felt a little unclarity, and sometimes aversiveness over quick identification of intervals. The more I studied and taught different levels of students, I realized all of the tricks to quickly identify, and truly understand all intervals. And with that, I can move forward with confidence in my playing and composing!

In this book I compiled all of my tricks and perspectives, and I promise there is no stone left uncovered. Each chapter has detailed explanations of each interval and way to solve. I find very wordy Music Theory books a little overwhelming. This book is filled with lots of images and excerpts for you to make the connection of the concepts to the score. I recommend having your instrument on hand as you learn!
